Non-Medical Home Care

 

PHS' Non-Medical program is an exciting way of helping people, going beyond simply sitting with them and providing traditional non-medical services. PHS can provide assistance with activities of daily living, and medication reminders along with companionship, housekeeping, etc. PHS goes beyond task oriented functions and looks at the complete individual and meets the special needs of the client to provide a more fulfilling lifestyle.

 

Each of our clients’ service plans include an assessment of their needs, along with their ability to participate in various aspects of their care. During our initial assessment, our registered nurse works with the family caregivers and develops a “Plan of Care” that is individualized to each person. The RN can assist with getting family caregivers in touch with an outside caregivers group that will afford them the ability to form a connection with others in the same situation, if needed.
